Common questions
Can I use DrillMark without an account?
Yes. Continue without an account and your history stays on that device. No history backup is created until you deliberately sign in with Apple or Google.
What is backed up?
Signed-in accounts back up drill results, shot positions and timing, notes, edits, setup details, and firearm profiles. Original videos, audio, and images remain on the device and are not restored on another device.
Why is an older recording missing?
Ordinary recordings are kept for up to 72 hours and share a 1.5 GB device budget. The oldest recording can be removed sooner if the budget is exceeded. Personal-best comparison recordings can remain longer. Result cards and shot data remain after recording media expires.
Camera or microphone access is blocked
Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security, or the DrillMark entry in Settings, and allow the required permission. Camera access is required to record. Microphone access is needed for recorded audio and timing alignment.
History storage is unavailable
DrillMark disables recording when it cannot open the on-device history database, preventing temporary results from appearing saved. Check that the device has free storage and tap Try Again. Do not delete the app if you have local-only history you need to preserve; contact support first.
I can’t sign in
Use the same Apple or Google account originally connected to DrillMark. Apple sign-in access and Hide My Email are managed in your Apple Account settings; Google account recovery is managed by Google. If the problem continues, contact DrillMark Support.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings → Account → Manage Account → Delete Account. DrillMark removes the signed-in account’s cloud history and account record. The confirmation flow explains that local history stays on the device with backup turned off.
